Weekend in San Francisco
Every year around this time, we try to get out west to take a little break from the long Minnesota winters. This year was particularly timely for us as we've filled so much of our time with work (good work, mind you), but nonetheless it has tugged on our marriage for the last few months. We've both been looking forward to this trip to get back to prioritizing what we love to do together: travel. We ate to our heart's content, drank coffee in generous amounts, spent time with good friends and just let ourselves be without a huge agenda.
Below you'll find a few shops that we loved from our trip. If you find yourself in San Francisco craving a good cup and a pastry, any one of these places will do you in!
Coffee Bar in Mission
The best back patio brunch can be found at Stable Café
Tartine...where the lines are out the door and around the block!
Aside from eating (a lot), we also walked around the city and soaked up the 60 degree weather as much as we could!
We sat in these chairs reading poetry and listening to strumming (and mildly decent singing) from the street musician through the window.
Pourovers and cinnamon rolls at Ritual Coffee
Our good friend lives a block away from this beach scene, so of course we had a picnic and ate some sand!
'till our next adventure!
